Pastor Jay founded Rock Road Fellowship over 30 years ago especially to assist societal drop outs, drug addicts, etc, by getting them out into the isolation and fresh air of the countryside and helping them walk with Christ while laboring gainfully on a dairy farm.

As time passed, Jay established Rock Road Chapel. As the pastor of Rock Road Chapel in New York, he has been working toward unity in the body of Christ for decades.

In 1981, Pastor Jay received the vision for IAM of training believers for the harvest. In 1992 the Lord gave expression to the vision and he continues to carry and impart the IAM mandate. With an apostolic father's heart has traveled over 50 mission trips to 6 continents training leaders and encouraging the work of missions.

He is the Vice-President of Pinecrest Bible Training Center and serves on leadership boards of several other ministries.

I first met Jay thirty years ago when we labored together to bring Christ to our communities. Jay and I both served as officers in the New York Association of Christian Educators (NYACE), and because of Jay’s generosity, our two sons later attended the Christian school at Rock Road Chapel.

Pastor Jay and his wife Evelyn have 6 children and 14 grandchildren. Ps. 133:1 is one of his life verses.

Dear fellow cross trainers,

IAM schools continue to be conducted on several continents as there is demand by students. Many are held annually in the same place. Others change location for the ease of student travel. Schools range in size from 6 to over 100.

Basically IAM is taking the Discipleship School to the students rather than the forcing the students to travel to the schools.

Students are between the ages of 17 and 70. Many pastors and leaders attend who have had little or no formal training.

You are welcome to share the IAM story as you desire.
